YOEC Participates in the Child Nutrition Programs
Since 2008, Yeshiva Ohr Elchonon Chabad has proudly participated in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program, ensuring that every registered student receives delicious, nutritious, and fully kosher meals—completely free of charge.

Our commitment to student well-being extends beyond the school day! Through the After-School Meal and Snack Program, we provide additional wholesome meals so students can stay energized and focused, whether they are engaged in learning, extracurricular activities, or simply preparing for the next day.

At YOEC, we believe that proper nutrition is essential for academic success and personal growth. Parents can feel confident knowing their children are enjoying balanced, high-quality meals that meet both their dietary needs and kosher standards.
Local School Wellness Policy
Our school is committed to supporting the health and well-being of all students. As part of this effort, we have a Local School Wellness Policy, which helps guide our practices in areas such as nutrition, physical activity, and overall student wellness. This policy ensures that students have access to healthy meals, opportunities for physical activity, and a supportive environment for learning and growth. We value the input of our parents, staff, students, and community members in shaping and improving our wellness initiatives. If you would like to share your ideas, offer feedback, or become involved in the development and review of our School Wellness Policy, we warmly invite you to participate!
Your voice plays an important role in creating a healthy school community for all our children.
